When I met Dr. Gamble, I was having trouble sleeping.  I would wake up several times during the night drenched in sweat.  Also, I was fatigued all the time.  My doctor had suggested hormone replacement.  I am too young for that and besides, I still have ovaries. After doing a complete Lifestyle Analysis, including blood work my physician never suggested, it was concluded that I only needed to make some changes in diet and add some nutritional supplements that my body lacked.  Today, I am resting better.  I do not take hormones or any other prescription medications.  I sleep all night without sweats.  Overall, I feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally.  I am so glad I met Dr. Gamble.  She has truly empowered me to regain control of my health and well being.

My 9 year old son came home from school with vomiting and an extremely high fever. I took him to a medical fast track unit at the local hospital where he was diagnosed as having a virus that would result in the fever continuing to spike for 5 - 7 days. I was told he should drink fluids to keep him hydrated and to do nothing more. 11 days later his symptoms persisted and my son ended up being admitted to the hospital and undergoing numerous tests. On the 4th day he was diagnosed as having Mono (no known treatment), anemia and inflammation of the liver. His anemic state remained the same during his hospital stay and a blood transfusion was recommended by the treating physician. Thinking the recommended treatment was a bit EXTREME, I called Sankofa Wellness Center to set up an appointment for consultation (I wanted to take my son out of the hospital immediately, as his condition seemed only to stay the same or to be getting worse). Upon release from the hospital we went immediately to the Center. Scheduled supplementation, juicing, rest and relaxation were just a few of the suggestions ordered by Dr. Michelle Gamble to help my son begin to feel better, lower his temperature and relieve him of his anemia. Prior to leaving the hospital, the attending physician ordered blood work to be drawn within 3 days of our release. Upon receiving the results, I was pleased to report to Dr. Gamble that the anemia which had remained constant while in the hospital was much improved, his liver panel score revealed a 200 point drop, his energy level was up and his spiking fever was no longer a concern for me during the night. I thank God for leading me to the Sankofa Wellness Center and Dr. Gamble. The attending physician stated that my son's condition, especially the anemia, PUZZLED him and that scared me. At the center, no medicines were recommended. I was instructed on use of wholesome foods, supplements, prayer, faith and guidance from Dr. Gamble. I'd recommend this center to ANYONE with health problems of any kind.
